TIA DESROCHERS
I’m a lover of all things movement and energy-related. I started with weightlifting when I was about 17, and got my personal training certification in 2016.
From there I competed in two bikini competitions, the experience itself was amazing and it taught me a myriad of things, the most important being balance, realism, and acceptance.
Lucky for me I was able to move forward with those lessons in mind, paired with Yoga and Reiki I was able to find a deeper connection to myself and I could now see exercise as more than just an aesthetic practice.
I believe health and wellness go far beyond the external, and in my experience, I’ve been my best self when I put just as much on the internal. That is the idea that I bring to all my classes. Honouring the self in all its phases, and removing the judgment and expectation that surrounds society’s idea of “health” and what that looks like.
